# How to choose boxing gloves in Pakistan
Start with the session you are buying for. Then check the glove's intended use, fit, weight and purchase terms. A familiar brand name or a low price cannot answer all four.
## 1. Ask what your gym requires
Before comparing products, ask your coach whether the glove is for bag work, pad work or sparring. Ask about the required weight and any restrictions on glove type. Write those requirements down.
Read the intended-use instructions for the exact model and follow your gym’s requirements.
## 2. Check fit separately from ounces
The number in ounces describes glove weight; it does not provide a universal hand-size standard. Two models with the same listed weight can fit differently.
Use the manufacturer’s measurement instructions and the chart for the exact model. A chart from another brand does not establish the fit of a SAEE glove.
When trying a glove, use your usual wraps and ask your coach to check the fit. Notice pressure, slipping and whether the closure can be secured correctly. Do not assume discomfort will disappear simply because the glove is new.
## 3. Read what is actually specified
Look for the shell material, lining, closure, intended use and available sizes or weights. A product description that says “premium” without those details does not give you much to compare.
Photos should show the palm, thumb, cuff and closure as well as the back of the glove. A short demonstration of putting the glove on can be more useful than another campaign image.
## 4. Compare the delivered cost
For a Pakistan order, compare the total in PKR, not just the displayed product price. Check delivery fees, dispatch timing, exchange eligibility and whether the item is in stock or on pre-order. For imports, confirm the seller's terms for duties and returns before paying.
A higher price alone does not prove better protection or suitability.
