How to check boxing shoe fit

Start with measurements and the chart for the exact shoe you are considering. Your usual trainer size is a starting point, not proof that a boxing shoe will fit.

Measure before comparing sizes

Use the brand's measurement instructions. Record the length and width of both feet, the units used and the socks you plan to wear. Keep the measurements together so you can compare them with a model-specific chart.

Check whether the chart uses foot measurements or the shoe’s internal dimensions. A conversion chart from another brand does not establish the fit of this model.

Read the whole chart

Check whether a number refers to foot length, internal shoe length or an EU, UK or US size. These are not interchangeable. If the seller gives only a conversion table and you are unsure about width, ask before ordering.

For online purchases, read the exchange terms before trying the shoes. Keep the first fit check consistent with the seller's return conditions.

Inspect the shoe you receive

Compare the label and model with your order. Look at the laces, fastening points, seams and sole. Put the shoes on with your intended socks and secure them as directed.

Notice any pinching, heel movement or pressure around the toes. Discuss fit concerns with the seller and your coach before using them in a full session.

What to ask about a boxing shoe

A high-top shape or a particular outsole appearance does not, by itself, establish performance.

The SAEE shoe

Discipline uses white mesh, reinforced white leather panels, white laces and black lace bridges. Each outer side carries one complete black leather SAEE icon. Inner sides and heels are unbranded.

See the shoe details. The final size chart and release terms will be published before ordering opens.
